“Thousand-Hand Thousand-Eye Guanyin Bodhisattva Statue” at Tamsui
Open for visiting on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 09:30 to 16:00!
The construction work is still in progress, only the Sacred Site of the Patriarch and the worshiping hall of the Sacred Guanyin Statue are open for incense offerings and worships.
The sentient beings all over the world are welcome to visit and appreciate the holy statue up close!

Ground floor of the Sacred Site of the Patriarch: Incense offering for blessings, donation for construction; drinking fountains and restrooms available
The Sacred Site of the Patriarch on the patio constructed with sands from the Ganges River: photographing is welcome.
You are welcome to take pictures at the worshiping hall of the Sacred Guanyin Statue.
【Notes for Visitors】
- Please dress properly in respectful manners for visiting and/or worshiping. The blue-white slippers, indoor slippers and bathroom slippers are not allowed.
- Pets are not allowed without prior consent.
- Do not eat or drink in the campus.
- Please do not climb the railings to avoid accidents.
- For the public safety, no drone photography is allowed without prior consent.

->Route 1: Walk from the parking lot outside the Yuan-Dao Guanyin Temple.
->Route 2: Walk from the “Guanyin Path” inside the Yuan-Dao Guanyin Temple.
Opening hours of“Guanyin Path”: 09:30~15:50 (closed in case of rain)
Take the free shuttle bus from Bodhi Station to the Yuan-Dao Guanyin Temple, then by walk via the Guanyin Path or by a shuttle bus. (For more information about “Bodhi Station”, please visit the official website of Yuan-Dao Guanyin Temple / Transportation)
Parking lot is not available at the campus of “Thousand-Hand Thousand-Eye Guanyin Bodhisattva Statue” statue. To avoid traffic jam, please do not park on the roadside randomly; instead, please park your car at the parking lot outside the Yuan-Dao Guanyin Temple for visiting.
【Shuttle Bus for the physical-challenged】
- Route:Yundao-Guanyin Temple ←→ Thousand-Hand Thousand-Eye Guanyin Bodhisattva Statue
- Available for the physically challenged, such as elderly people, children, pregnant women, people with wheelchair or baby strollers
- Please reserve at the Worshiping Hall, or the Dao Café, then proceed to the pick-up and drop-off point for shuttle bus at the parking lot, or waiting at the San Teh Plaza in the campus.
- Please reserve and wait for the shuttle bus at the ground floor of the Sacred Site of the Patriarch.
【Group Visits】
Please park tour buses at the parking lot in the right side of the temple.
【Parking Lot】
Parking spaces inside the campus available for the physically challenged or pregnant women only; for motorcycles, bicycles, and tour buses, please park at the parking lot in the right side of the temple; in the left side, there is a private parking lot operated by the third party, which can be used for the heavy motorcycles also.
